Menopause Support

Navigating the menopause journey

Suddenly feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and panicked with daily living can be a sign of the menopause journey. Low mood, fatigue, brain fog, and insomnia are just some of the many symptoms women experience during their menopause journey. This web of long-standing and complex emotions can impact your relationships, work life, intimacy levels, and sense of self.

Combining CBT therapy with my Menopause Wellbeing Practitioner training, I am passionate about helping to equip women with self-management skills to reduce the psychological distress commonly associated with hot flushes, vaginal dryness and other menopausal symptoms.

I can help you to make sense of what is happening, manage your emotions more easily along with finding coping techniques to help you manage your daily life easier.

A CBT-informed approach to Menopause

NICE guidelines (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) recommend CBT as a treatment for menopause-related symptoms. Whether or not you are on HRT, the psychological issues women struggle with during menopause can feel extremely difficult to cope with. I offer a personalised approach to each individual woman who is experiencing her own unique set of menopause symptoms. My counselling integrates the latest research and best practices to provide tailored support for your specific needs.
